Samantha Irvin took to social media where she announced that she was leaving WWE. This is after being part of WWE since 2021.
The end of an announcing era has come to a close with Samantha Irvin WWE.
Monday Night Raw announcer Samantha Irvin posted on her X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts announcing the end of her time as the Raw announcer, and with WWE. WWE Universe, my time has come to an end as your Monday Night Raw Ring Announcer, as a statement went out. I love you all tremendously, and this does not mark the end of my art, I have a lifetime more to share.
The statement thanks the Women’s Locker Room, crew and cameramen, and Superstars. Irvin specifically mentioned Paul Heyman, Michael P.S. Hayes, and Michael Cole in her statement saying “I will continue to apply what I learned from you to every aspect of my career”.
Irvin began with WWE in 2021 as the ring announcer for “205 Live”. In January 2022, she was permanently reassigned for Friday Night SmackDown, filling Greg Hamilton, who left the role. In February 2023, Irvin was moved to Raw.
Irvin’s fiancé, Ricochet, had departed WWE in June and moved to AEW in August. He made his entrance at All In as part of the Casino Gauntlet match.
Irvin did not say what her next steps would be regarding her career, whether she was going to enter AEW and join Ricochet, or possibly the end to her wrestling career. She concluded her message with an ominous but positive one To my fans, my whole career I’ve been waiting for you! We are meant to be and I can prove it. Stay tuned.
