Taylor Swift returned to Kansas City on Monday Night to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce during the showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 4th. She was spotted getting to Arrowhead Stadium roughly an hour before kickoff in the midst of finishing the American leg of her Eras Tour. Joining Swift in the Chiefs’ gear were her mother Andrea and brother Austin, embracing fans waving at the singer.
Friday marked Taylor Swift’s first visit to a Chiefs game since her last one, which was when she watched them win over the New Orleans Saints on October 7. She was dressed for the occasion, wearing knee-high Christian Louboutin boots, black shorts, and a Chiefs bomber jacket.
In the days leading into this game, Swift wrapped up a three-night run in Indianapolis that concluded the U.S. portion of her tour on November 3. On the final night of her performance at Lucas Oil Stadium fans noticed she had a red-and-gold manicure-a subtle nod to the Chiefs’ colors.
Kelce, the Chiefs’ star tight end, made a special trip to Indianapolis to catch one of Swift’s shows and enjoyed the concert along with her mother from the VIP section. At one moment, he is seen dancing with Andrea Swift while Taylor performed.
Swift fans went the most wild when she celebrated Kelce on stage. She amended her “Karma” lyrics to be “a guy in the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” making her playful bauble with the singer now all the sweeter.
Recently, on his New Heights podcast segment with co-host and friend Jason Kelce, Travis opened up about his relationship with Swift for the first time and expressed his happiness at being with her and appreciation for the support of their fans. “Thanks for always showing the love,” he shared. “You know it is real, and me and Tay are just over the moon with happiness.”
Swift will resume traveling from Toronto on November 14. She will headline her final show for the Eras Tour on December 8, after performing nearly 150 concerts.
