The iOS 18.1 update from Apple is due to arrive soon, with the official rollout predicted for October 28th In the meantime, beta testers are still focusing on polishing up 18.1 and developer beta 7 is out now as build 22B5075a. For everyone else running iOS 14, you’ll get it sometime this week; probably over the weekend for public beta users too.
Everything new in iOS 18.1 beta7
This latest beta build helps to take us another step towards the final release of iOS 18.1, which better include some great improvements when it arrives officially. That’s where Apple Intelligence comes into play, of course. That said, these will be limited to iPhones beginning with the recent models.

Key Features in iOS 18.1
Apple Intelligence AI Tools: They ease writing tasks by providing text rephrasing, proofreading, and summarizing capabilities.
Revamped Siri: Siri gets a text-input interface which on its head looks like Apple must be going back to the proverbial “drawing-board” but it is in fact does not kill-thyme.
Mail App Improvements: Changes to the Mail app consist of message reports, and precedence-based sorting & intelligent responses reason emailing a bit sooner in addition.
Focus Mode ‘Lower Interruptions’: Redesigned focus mode restriction that reduces how typically you obtain notifications, so it is simpler to maintain your consideration on what issues most.
Clean-up in Photos App: A new clean-up tool that is doing magic to clean our duplicacy and other organizational works.
Notification Summaries – A less interruptive way to manage your notifications where you will receive them in grouped summaries, delivered at a schedule time and avoid overwhelming the user.
